Wiki Catalog Entry
Tables of Exposure Times Booklet ..... circa 1924 ..... This type of guide was used by photographers before selenium light meters became widely available. It measures just
6 x 9 x 1 cm. The printed cardboard cover reads "EKSPONOMETRE" and the back is impressed with Cyrillic writing relating to the makers of the booklet. All of the inside exposure table pages are actual photographs, contact printed onto small silver-gelatin emulsion coated photographic paper. There are twenty cards, each appropriate for different latitudes, cities, months of the year, and times of the day, etc. The booklet was painstakingly hand-made in a small Soviet artel-workshop.

The dealer in the Ukraine that I bought this Exposure Guide from had a very nice description for it, in English;

"Antique Russian Light Meter, 1924, from my private collection to famous Museums!
This one was made in the Soviet Union (Russia, USSR, CCCP) by
VSEVOLZHSKAYA GALANTEREYNO-HUDOZHESTVENAYA ARTEL in 1924.
Mini book size. Hard cover. Typical name for that time on the back:
LOSPK LENOBAHIMGALPROMSOYUZ.
Light Meter was compiled under Reden by V. Makokin. 20 Cards.
Of course, it does not need any batteries because it uses only your attention :)
In that time they counted exposition with tables and cards. It is interesting that results were rather correct."
