I am an Soviet and Russian camera collector residing in State of Illinois, USA. I have only somewhat recently started collecting (since May 2007) these fine examples of Soviet and Russian mechanical engineering and design that until late 80s have been closed off to the rest of the world. Now that these cameras have come to light, I want to share them with all of you. Recently I have decided to start cataloging Soviet and Russian cameras online, thus the USSRPhoto.com project was born, which is a Wiki catalog of Russian and Soviet cameras.

Wiki Catalog Entry

A very interesting combination - a Soviet Kalimar SR200 (Zenit-E) used as a standard equipment on American-made cosmetic dental/medical/pathology photographic system.

The camera has macro bellows attached to it with specialized lens. The speed shutter dial is taken off so it is hard set on 1/30. The camera is fired by a trigger on the bottom of the system - a la pistol grip, with cable release going up to the camera.

This system is manufactured by Photo Eaze MFG. Inc in New York, NY.

The included invoice shows the sales date of 8/13/1982 and system was sold for the price of $399US

Set comes with various frame attachments for dental frame-ups.
