Hi all

I have this Fed 1. It seems to be a Fed 1 "D"
I am surprised about the red dot you can see near speed selector.
All speeds are selected in front of this dot , and not in front of the traditional arrow.
Never seen it before.
May be Fed specialists have an explanation, please?

Best regards

Fred

Maybe someone who uses a device on the accessory shoe very often would want the speed to be visible and so they added the red dot and readjusted the dial placement to read correctly at the red dot. Just a guess.

Certainly it is the best explanation.

Jacques.

Hi Vlad

Thank you for your message
There is only one red dot on this camera
It repleces the arrow as all speeds are correctly usable and accurate in front of this dot.
It is quite easy to change the index from arrow to red dot, but what for???

Fred
