Hello Forum,

I'm a silent member since almost 5 years now and I think it's time to introduce myself. I'm Andreas from Germany and I'm using cameras from the former USSR since about more than 15 years. Does anyone here remember the russian camera forum at beststuff.com? I was active there a bit.

I did not collect seriously, but at random I bought soviet cameras: Zenits, Zorkis, FEDs and so on. The "Authentic Guide" of Princelle is a big source for inspiration. Everything started with a Kiev 4am and some years ago I decided to focus mostly on the Kiev rangefinder cameras.

I'm getting more active now again and I'm trying to fill some gaps in my humble collection.

I appreciate the knowledge in this forum and often threats and resources here helped me a lot to answer questions.

I will post my newest additions soon. I bought a Kiev 4a with „T“ serial number on ebay. And I was lucky to find another one only a week later.

Welcome! Glad to have you here!

Kievs are fun,I keep finding new model variations every year! Recently I picked up an Olympic 4am, which I've never seen before! I will post it to the forum once I receive it! Don't hesitate to share any interesting finds here.

Best regards,
Vlad.
