Does anyone know where I can find an English translation of the Horizont manual? I have just bought one at a camera fair. It all seems to be working OK and I think I cracked loading the film. Now to try it out. :)

Best wishes, Kris.

Hello all.

Just got my first roll back and I'm very happy. As expected, however, I do have a bit of a light leak. :( I was wondering if anyone could recommend a UK-based repairer I could send it to for a little loving care?

Many thanks, Kris.

Ahh, many thanks for that. I'll have to wait until I have taken a shot then. Also answers my question about filters: there is only a UV and a green one.

Best wishes, Kris.

You may use the Russian manual: http://www.zenitcamera.com/mans/horizon/horizon.html
or English one, but to Horizon-202: http://www.zenitcamera.com/mans/horizon-202/horizon-202-eng.html#p12

Thanks Alexander,

it was the first one of those, the late 60s/early 70s Horizont.

The one thing the manual doesn't show is how to change the filters. The camera has a UV filter fitted and there is a green one in the case. Were other colours available? I like to use an orange filter with BW film when I can.

Many thanks for the help. Kris.

Hello Kris,
for which model do you need one? On zenitcamera.com you can find the following four manuals:

http://www.zenitcamera.com/mans/horizon/horizon-eng.html
http://www.zenitcamera.com/mans/horizon-202/horizon-202-eng.html
http://www.zenitcamera.com/mans/horizon-203/horizon-203-eng.html
http://www.zenitcamera.com/mans/horizon-205/horizon-205-eng.html

Regards, Alexander
