Hello!

Today I am looking for a part for my FT-2.
Is is not mechanical part, but I miss the plate on top of camera, where we can read the different positions of the 2 levers to choose the speed.
The four screws that maintain the plate are here, but not the plate itself....
May be someone could help me please?

Thzank's a lot!!

Fred

Dear friends,
I have acquired an FT-2 camera without the cassettes inside. I have searched the internet regarding spare ones, but only came across advice to simply buy another one with cassettes. Is this really the only way or does someone know maybe a DIY solution to overcome the problem?

Best regards to all, Marko

Hi Luiz

Thank you very much
I have another one so I can do what you suggest.
In the meantime, I will try to find one in a camera sold for parts...Maybe it is possible in Bievres....

All the best

Fred

Dear Fred
No problems at all. If you have another FT2 or a frind who has, you need to remove the plate ot the other camera, make a quality Xerox copy (in color mode) and plastify it in the nearer paper stock shop.
After this it is a patience job. Make first the holes and finally cut it in the right size and isntall the new sheet. Everything is OK
Good luck!
Regards
LP
