Two very-very strange cameras found today on Molotok.ru .
I have never seen such examples at all! According to seller these cameras were never produced, but finished manualy at KMZ from serial cameras.
It could be done nowadays as well, you must simply change the bodies. With engraving a little difficult, but feasible too.

Any ideas?

P.S. Unfortunately I cannot check them now in SSK-book

Regards, Alexander

Interesting find.
It is not difficult to change covers and migrate the selftimer.
But engravings are perfect! Zenit B recieves a B (V) but the name is slightly off than general cameras the Zenit C receives a 2 very well drawn. These modifications well should have been done at factory.
Chrome is in perfect condition in both cameras.

Cool find, quite strange indeed. Lot description does say these are aftermarket modifications and not factory units.

Cheers,
Vlad.
