In Bosnia-Hercegovina the best bet would be second hand markets, but finding them is hard. I know one in Sarajevo but it's hard to describe how to find it. I could not find any actual 2nd hand camera stores, but asking around in places that still do film development may help. There is one good place Sarajevo downtown. I can dig up the address when I get home.

Sorry, I didn't notice. I wouldn't mind too much, but I did google 'good camera stores in Bosnia'!

On the plus side, this thread was the 10th entry when I re-did the google search a few seconds ago.

Sean, the link is about Budapest, which is the capitol of Hungary, not Bosnia.
And Bosnia is a bit different case, as it used to be former Yugoslavia. Thus it was not linked to USSR like for example DDR and Poland was.
So I doubt if the poor country, which has recently gone through terrible inner wars, has much to offer in cameras?
Any case the best places to find bargain priced jewels are not found on the internet, they are typically small forgotten shops on the outskirts.

Best regards,
Juhani

Hello paulkane1, and welcome to the forum.

Out of curiosity I googled "Bosina" just in case there was a place called Bosina which I hadn't heard of, but it just came up with 'Bosnia-Herzigovina".

I tried on Yandex, (which is a search engine I found out about a couple of months ago), it came up with several "Basina's", but it did come up with "Robiola Bosina" which seems to be a type of cheese.

I don't think you'll be visiting a cheese, so I presume you mean Bosina-Herzigovina. I've googled 'good camera stroes in bosnia', and I've got a link for you, but I've no idea if the info is any
good or not. You'll have to judge that yourself when you get there.

Hope it helps.
