Posted - Feb 08 2018 : 09:46:30 AM Ha, ha! When I saw your post, Alexey, I rushed to my board, but the Fed 1a s/n 4642 is always here! We already discussed about this camera here. http://ussrphoto.com/Forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2002
For me, it's a mix Fed/Leica, with a Leica shutter box. All that was re-chromed together: the chrome is homogeneous and finer than on the other pre production prewar cameras. As for the lens, a mix again with the body of an Elmar and the optics from a Fed (position of the diaphragm). Really, much work: the owner was attached to this camera.

Posted - Sep 30 2017 : 04:54:31 AM Thanks Jacques I saw recently Zorki number 67XX. There were "old" speed dial and "old" knobs. |
levonsa |
Posted - Sep 29 2017 : 10:17:28 AM Friends! In a particular case, Zorki #07026 is not authentic. In Russia, such options are called "Cutlet". But the top cover in any case is original and that's why we will be happy because it has a twin. |
Jacques M. |
Posted - Sep 29 2017 : 09:20:33 AM I have a good listing about Fed-Zorki and Zorki 1a (but I am not alone, eh, Alexey!). It seems that speed dials and button release were mixed up to s/n 9000-10000.
So, a great box with mixed parts, probably...
Amitiés. Jacques. |
Alfa2 |
Posted - Sep 29 2017 : 03:35:05 AM Yes, I wonder if the speed dial was changed in 7076 in a service some yesrs after production. Or maybe in a factory there was one box with "old" and "new" speed dials and worker choosed them randomly. |
Jacques M. |
Posted - Sep 28 2017 : 05:47:40 AM Interesting. It seems that the s/n 7027 has a Fed-Zorki speed dial, and the 7026 already a Zorki one. Thanks, Alexey. |

Posted - Sep 11 2017 : 01:05:38 AM No, I had not seen that, Guido. I was just wondering about these ultra rare items... (thanks, Alexey!)
It seems that the "4" are not always the same, open or closed. Probably you are right. But I am not sure to see correctly.

Posted - Sep 10 2017 : 2:51:28 PM Hello Alexey, Jacques

Posted - Sep 10 2017 : 2:39:46 PM Ha ha! If you have too many photosnipers at home, perhaps some of us could help you, Alexey? But I suppose that the three ones are not yours... If possible, would you have the s/n of the bodies, just to compare with the others we have?

Posted - Jun 24 2017 : 04:36:19 AM Hi all
I have the black one for several years and the chrome one arrived last week from an English auction room... Maybe they come from different areas and lens engraving is different, but how to explain the consecutive numbers on bodies and same number on lenses??? It's more than a coincidence I think... I suppose they were made by same guy?

Posted - May 08 2017 : 05:49:46 AM Thanks, Alexey for these two cameras, a NKVD 1d and a S. So, once more we see that the Fed S certainly were not numbered by batches. Really very curious.
I really wonder if we will find the same for Fed accessories: http://ussrphoto.com/Forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3180
