This set was also sold without the camera, the case has another variation with a black plastic knob.

Nathan, I'm very curious about this variation! If you can, could you post pictures?

I see so all it's for is just a display stand.. I thought it played some kind of role holding the custom parts in place, but I understand now. Very nice job!

dear Vlad ,
in fact , the rear lock is like a flat spring and is the main part in my stand.
first you must engaged front support and then lock all in the rear.
more : whan all is locked for exibition display , you can use snaiper whith the device .

WooooooooooooooooooooW! That is quite a modification!! Amazing work, Alain! Very very impressed! I still don't quite understand though what is the bottom support frame for? Isn't the Fotosnaiper based itself enough?

I confirm :

i possess 3 differents "grey" snaipers:
different on front ring lens engraved ,rear mount, and also cameras names :latin " zenit ES" and cyrrilic "zenit EC".

by the way , I am still hunting for a modern Zenit "122-2" or "122-S" snaiper (second hand !)

to day , I finished my "Universal" snaiper shoulder gunmount...so I will post soon some pictures : my challenge is to fit it on every cameras; old film and recent digital bodies(Nikon, EOS 5D, Rollei 3003 etc). the most interesting was "how to modifye whithoout cosmetics alterations"
So I think I success.
In the same time, I make a presentation device , simple, lightweight and cheap.
Please wait and see to give me opinions.
Alain
