Just a thought - most repainted Kievs are plentiful and compromised K 4 or K 4a .

However , I have elected to use K IIIa and Kiev IIa as donors ... which are all less than £50 to buy .

It is going to cost me a considerable sum , and I love the classic profile , so
it makes sense to use the early cameras .

I am not certain that I would feel as satisfied with a Kiev 4a - no matter how well finished .

Any comments ?
