Recently I have bought this FED in condition which can be seen at first photo.
It's a pitty this beautiful camera is in parts. So I'd like to assemble it. I can see there are no screws and there are no one of two small lamellas which are behind pressure plate. This small lamella is not a problem but screws are a small problem.

So now I have few questions:
1) Do you think I have all parts needed to assemble the camera ?
2) Is this vulcanite adequate for this serial number of camera ?
3) Where can I find screws which are similar to those which are missed in my camera ?

There is no the screw at all in my FED. I will try to take it from Zorki C.

Just a detail, Alfa: you have the tiny screw inside the speed dial, and it is in a good condition?
A problem not easy to solve...

Thanks SteveA, I know.
That is the reason why I have written spring was not a problem.

Hi, if your Zorki C is a bottom loader you may be able to use the springs from behind the pressure plate to fit to the FED.

Cheers,

Steve

Hi Jacques

Thank you for your help.
The most important that I have everything from this body, I mean everything suit this serial number. So it is worth to remount.
I have screws from Zorki C. They fit but they are little bit different - too glossy, as I remember.

Hi Alfa,

At first sight, you have everything to remount the camera, except one of the springs behind the press film, and all the screws...

I confirm that you have the good vulcanite for the good serial number (a late 1b, always interesting before the 1c-s). The screw which tightens the shutter box to the body is already missing, like on my 51287: 3 numbers before. And you probably have a release button with concentric circles too.

For the screws, perhaps you will find what you look for there: http://www.ebay.fr/sch/nobbysparrow/m.html?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEFSXS%3AMESOI&_trksid=p2053788.m1543.l2654
I must say I have one or two bodies which serve me as "givers" when necessary. But all the screws: it's too big for me.

Good luck. And tell me if you have problems: I have the sister camera!

Jacques.
