Mine (#9311051) arrived today, NIB with manual and all. Helios 44-3 as lens.
And mine has NO auto diaphgram mechanism in camera, so please check if yours does have the lever inside body?
Instead of meter this ET version has weather symbols in a dial like E/EM-meterdial.
A real cheapie...

Best regards,
Juhani

Serial is 9337674 and I look at it as a plastic Zenit B!

Samsung GX-10,too many Russian Lenses, A lot of Zenits, an Almaz 103 a few Yashica, and finally a Minox35GT

Mine definately does have the auto diaphragm mechanism. It would seem that they used this model, the Zenit-ET, to build whatever they could from the parts available. Has anyone any other versions?

I had another plastic ET about the same time scale with both the Meter and the Auto diaphragm, now in the hands of another of our members,so I think you are right David. According to Alex at Fotoua.com there is also a metered non-auto version too, so that would cover most variations but there sem to have been a huge number of ET types

Somewhat related, I picked up a mostly plastic Zenit-TTL at the camera show in Chicago couple of months back, I'll try to throw that into catalog this weekend for you guys to see.

If I am correct in reading Russian even the box says "no meter" and which lens (here preset 44-3). Manual does list several other lenses also, even automatic

And a view of the mount insides, no aperture lever in mine, but a lot of empty space!

Added material to wiki and corrected some. PLEASE ADD MORE SERIAL NUMBERS!

Best regards,
Juhani

Vlad, how to join two wiki threads?
Looks like David and Richard have both opened topics for practically same camera:

Just need to reupload pictures from one to another and cut and paste the text. I can later delete the duplicate.
