The solution: Not a Japanese convertion nor a British one.
This is an adaptation of Neuca top on Leica Body Around 1947!
No more -no less.

Any similarities? or information exchanges?
Screw mount Neucaflex is absolutely compatible with Zenit M39!

Very interesting. Thanks, Luiz!
Yes, a Neuca top on a Leica I(A) body...
I just wonder about the tip of the rangefinder. Not really visible, but it's not a Leica one. What is a Neuca like?

Amitiés. Jacques.

Yes, I had seen that.
A Leica-Neuca-Zorki? That sounds strange!

Do you know what is the shape of the tip on a Neuca? Like a Zorki 1b?

Amitiés. Jacques.

Jacques, my dear Watson, You bet!
There were several curious things between Soviet and German industry at that period.
Neuca and Neucaflex are loud examples! There are others like Finetta 99 and the comercial Leningrad câmeras Botha share the same mechanical gears. Also Werra has the same concept rangefinder of Leningrad.
Original Werra I from 1953 lent the finder to Smena 5 etc. Lubitel lens (T22) is the same Nettar of Zeiss Nettar câmeras. and so on..
Best Regards

Yes, Luiz. When there is a combined rangefinder/viewfinder...
But I always think that the Neuca top on a Leica A was the (your!) best possibility. But that damned tip of rangefinder...

The Canon Seiki s/n 15492... When I think I had owned it two or three years ago...

Jacques.
