Hello,

I read this new entry in the Wiki, but I wanted to add / correct. This lens is not a prototype, it's a lens designed to a reproduction system. I don't remember the name of the system (it's a bit like the S-64), but I clearly remember the numbers on the focus ring (1,2 and 3) are related to the size of the document (representated as squares on the reproduction table).

Hi, Thanks for your information. Even the classic Industar 69 for Chaika II can be used for an enlarger in the photo development phase. For this reason I believe that this lens was built for both an enlarger and the Chaika II camera. We should investigate again. In addition, this lens, mounted on the Fuji XE-1 camera, with adapter, provides good images, even if it does not focus infinitely because of the different draft (Leica ltm mm.28.80, Chaika II mm.26.2).
Sorry for my English.
Thanks again.
Greetings.

As far as I know, the Chaika use Newton viewfinder. So, it has to be distance inscription on the lens. On this particuler I-69, there isn't any mark exepted 1, 2 and 3 (I have one exemplar also, you can see http://pierretizien-photos.blogspot.fr/p/industar-69.html ). So, I strongly doubt this lens was made a normal Chaika also.

Talking about rare Industar-69, some month ago I missed a rare one on local site, that will now sit for years on ebay (very high price) : https://www.ebay.com/itm/ULTRA-RARE-COLLECTIBE-VERSION-of-Soviet-USSR-INDUSTAR-69-lens-for-CHAIKA-SN70005/272833646680?hash=item3f86271058:g:IuIAAOSwhChZrWSw

Exactly!
I just found some photo I have saved on my computer.
You can see on the first photo the 3 rectangulars related to the 3 numbers on the focus ring on the lens.

RU-2! Fantastic! Thank you for that, I have the camera and this lens from it, I just didn't know the name of the system.

Best regards,
Vlad
