Hello Chris and welcome to the forum. I['m sure there are plenty of members who can help, but thisa place can be a little quiet compared to other forums, so you may have to be patient.

That pale colour has been used on some Soviet cameras, but I'm not sure it's been used with thattype of body covering, mostly with the type of covering they put on the Zorki 4k etc., I don't remember what they call it.

I could of course be talking rubbish, as I don't know much about soviet cameras. Let's hope someone comes along who actually knows stuff.

A beautiful Zorki 1c.
No doubt it was repainted in pale beige.
Sean is right: all the Zorki 1s are in black, when they have a regular vulcanite. The (rare) coloured ones are known with a "nylon" cover only. As far as I know...

Amitiés. Jacques.

Jacques,

you are right, all the colored Zorki 1 I have seen on ebay look repainted. Some years ago there was a german seller with a lot of Zorki 1 and Zorki C in many colors, some looked very aweful ;-)
And my green Zorki 1 has a nylon cover.
