Who knows what factory this is?
This was asked on IDCC, but none of our regular sources list this logo anywhere... how odd.. I spent some time trying to find it on internet with no luck...
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! Vlad

This is an exact binocular with mark BP 8x30 That my wife brought in Moscow in 1964. Individual focusing and Zeiss clones from 1938. altough it has a well known Kazan logo. Really I have never seen this logo. By sure this is a new factory reissuing old descontinued models, easier to make and lower in cost. But as it has no visible origins this binocular should also be made in Bulgaria or Servia which uses the same cyrillic letters. LP |

Thank you Don! , I've looked everyone on internet too especially on sites in Russian, I think Luiz is right, this may not be a Soviet logo but one from one of the eastern european countries

Vlad. I said this binocular should not be a Russian one because its code differs from the GOST binocular code standards "B" for binocular; "G" for galilean; "P" for PORRO prismatic "K" for KANT prismatic "Tz" for central Focus etc. The last number is the construction version, This exact binocular now made in Kazan by KOMZ is now in the fifth version. The owner of the binoculars had contacted me and said that he identified the logo as Bulgarian OMZ factory.
