Hello friends

In the eBay auction

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200249400661

a Zorki 4 with a strange Jupiter 8 is offered. The number should be 000075 according to the text. It looks very stange to me. Has anyone seen such a lens befor?

Best wishes - Guido

It is actually one of the last chrome models before they switched to black paint(then anodized black). It has the exact same design of the black models (except it's made entirely of aluminum while the black ones have plastic parts).

See this link for Jupiter 8 variations:

Hey Guido
This is a pre run series of the last model. simplified type, rotating optical axle, before they put in production the black model.

The zeros in the beginning normally show prototypes or pre run series except on equpment made in the year 2000.
