Added a couple of pics of my new baby, hopefully worth the 100 euros I paid for it?

Juhani,
Congratulations. I think this lens is worth every penny that you paid for it.
In my opinion this Fed lens and most other Fed accessories from this period in Fed's history are in a class of their own and have a special quality about them.
And as we all know, they are also becoming pretty hard to find so once again congratulations.
Best wishes, Jim

A fine lens, Juhani.
Now, you have to look for the special finder. The story never
ends!

Amitiés. Jacques.

Jacques,
You are absolutely correct in saying that "The story never ends". I have three Fed 100mm x f6.3 lenses, but it has taken me eleven years of searching second hand bazaars in the FSU to find those.
In all that time I have never seen even one finder for these lenses, so I guess that shows how rare they are. Perhaps they turn up on the auction sites from time to time, but I wouldn't know because I vary rarely look at these sites, I much prefer to wander around the second hand bazaars when I have the chance.
I suppose they wouldn't attract a high enough value for people to fake them at the moment, but no doubt that day will come!
Best wishes, Jim

nice item Juani...Congratulations
if you need a picture from finder, please ask...
and , as said Jacques, story never end ...you have now to find all other items for a complete fed 1 set...

and then take a saw and hammer , glue, red velvet etc....and make something like this...

This friend is really discouraging!
At least something he doesn't have: the special 28mm viewfinder (but who has it? Nobody, if I'm not wrong!).

Amitiés. Jacques.

According to "The Box" :-) I still need the Fed Right Angle Finder, Fed Self Timer, and one other Ring (?).

What is the small ring to the left of the frame viewfinder?

Hi Steve,
It's the original yellow filter made from 1938.
Not common, of course.
Thanks, Alain!

Thank you, Alain.
What size is the filter?
Is it "One size fits all"?

Must look up my FSU-filters also, I have a handful of them. Some sellers did send those kind of items in the past with cameras/lenses. And I do know I have filters that I have not found any lens to yet...
My guess: It has no thread. It comes on the lens like a lens cap, but when lens cap rim is all over the front, this has cuts that make the edge act like a spring So it fits lenses according to the diameter of front ring, and is approx +/- 1mm adjustable. These lenses have approx same diameter, so one fits all if it is flexible.

Unfortunately you will need to enlarge your box soon, while 4 more types of FED filters, pneaumatic selftimer FED, 2 macro FED filters, original FED cassetes, FED loupe for negatives checking, FED development tank, FED selftimer in bakelite body and ... as it was mentioned by Jacques already Fed 28mm finder still missing in your box ... May be I have forgotten something more?

Aidas,
Also, I have a FED Stereo Slide-Bar attachment, circa 1938 ... a long solid bar that attaches to a tripod and the FED camera so that you can make one exposure and then use the sliding bar to move the camera to the correct second position, so that a pair of stereo photos can be made. A common accessory for many cameras, but rare for FED.

Regards, Bill
