This lens -Exactly this model and from same factory, and bought in the "GUM magazine", was first known in an article from the famous photographer Ken Heyman in july 1962 in the Popular Photography using it in a variety of circunstances including for portrait work. He adapted the lens in a Pentax camera. Fred Spira recently passed, was the first to import, sell, advertise and made known in America those lenses. Together he brought the first lot of "FT-2" cameras.
Suddenly Japanese factories begun to produce similar (but not so good) lenses.
