Quarz 1x8S-1
1970-1974

The Quarz 1x8S-1 uses Kodak-type super-8 cartridges. The drive is clockwork and the camera has filming speeds of 8, 12, 18, 24 and 32 frames per second, plus single frame. It has an interesting lens arrangement. The complete lens is designated Agat-6A which consists of a Mart-1 basic lens with an added Pandora-6 zoom suppliment. This combination gives a zoom range of 9 - 23 mm with a maximum aperture of f/1.8. The Quarz 1x8S-1 is an automatic camera using a CdS cell. The camera is supplied with in a fitted case complete with close-up lenses, filters, lens-hood, cable release, pistol-grip, and wrist strap.
