MKIP Colour Temperature Meter

The MKIP colour temperature meter was manufactured in Moscow in the 1950s. It was made for professional movie making, but could also be used for still photography where the colour temperature was likely to be critical. The scale on the back of the disk runs from 2.5 to 25 x 1000 degrees Kelvin.
