Posted - May 09 2023 : 01:30:52 AM I‘m late to the party and you probably already made your decision but I‘d consider the Chaika II with its detachable Industar 69 lens. It is in M39 mount and you can „tune“ it to work on other bodies. But as others suggested, get them both ;)

Posted - Dec 28 2022 : 2:09:09 PM Another vote for the Agat. I got very decent results, the lens is quite good, it's very light and it's cheap.
An interesting decision! I have both, and have had decent results from both. It depends more what you are looking for. I'd say the Agat is more fun, it is an unusual and quirky camera. The Chaika is more conventional and probably ought to get better results, but a lot comes down to luck with these old FSU cameras!
