Has anyone got any information regarding the availability of this model:
http://www.zenit.istra.ru/qa/qa-digital.html
or recent ones in the future?

PS. What does the article say about it's production? (I can not read russian).

See http://www.zenitcamera.com/rec/news-2007-06-04-01.html (in Russian). That's only that announced.

ZENIT-N1 at first was published as a April fish:

A practical joke, but: incompletely... ;)

Well I'll leave it to Zoom to answer in more details, but basically they've announced it a while back and now it's supposedly in development.. a few features announced like modular design, so LCD would be a separate part that you put on the camera if you need it, otherwise you can leave it off for lighter body.. no idea if they persuing this design or not, but this was one of the things mentioned. Also mentioned a posibility of a built in micro-hard drive.. that would be interesting... again no idea what the production features would be...

Vlad.
