I have a question to the members regarding the shutter that I have
for I-37 300/4.5 large format lens that is a part of the FKD 18x24
outfit. I originally thought that this shutter was designed with the FKD camera in mind. All my attempts to fit it in to the existing plate
size of the FKD failed. Then I acquired Deardorff V8 with 6x6 standard
plate size and was amazed how well this shutter fits into this profile.
I was able to fit it in with minimal filing on one side. I suspect that this shutter was produced for some other type of view cameras.
Does anybody have any info on this? Original shutter pictures are in my collection on the web site ( imcphoto ) in accessories. Here I am attaching the pictures of the Deardorff mounted one.

Thanks
