Posted - Jun 20 2013 : 05:53:36 AM suitable Zenit-E body with M39 too. This lens is not usable with the old M39-Zenits, so it must be one Zenit-E.

Posted - Feb 03 2012 : 4:40:33 PM Sorry, my mistake. It is not Helios-44, but Helios-44-2 in black (Valdai). I have never seen such lens on Zenit 3/3M. I post the pictures this weekend...

Posted - Feb 03 2012 : 4:19:31 PM Alexander, I'll make pictures for you this weekend. Here is Zenit-B M39 on eBay (description say that it M42, but picture show M39): http://www.ebay.com/itm/ZENIT-B-V-Russian-M42-mount-camera-BODY-only-69016307-4045-/370570171587?pt=Film_Cameras&hash=item5647b414c3 Could you tell us what is special about your Helios-44 M39 lens? Helios 44 M39 was made for Zenit 3, and Zenit 3M for many years. Can you post pictures of your lens? |

Posted - Feb 03 2012 : 09:10:26 AM Okynek, thank you for reply. I know, that I can modify Zenit-E for putting M39 lens on it, but this is not my aim. I have a M39 not modified Helios-44 lens and I belive , that must be suitable Zenit-E body with M39 too. This lens is not usable with the old M39-Zenits, so it must be one Zenit-E. I need the body only. Could you send me some photos of the camera (fotografie@kneller.info)? Thanks.

Posted - Feb 02 2012 : 4:02:31 PM I have one for trade. Made in 1968 as I remember. Conditions is average, shatter works. No lens. I believe that camera was not modified, and M39 ring is original. Generally you should be able to put M39 ring from rangefinder on M42 Zenit E with with little modifications and efforts. Am I wrong?
