Posted - Mar 18 2008 : 1:01:17 PM I am looking for ZK lenses (2/50 or 1,5/50) and Jupiter 3 or 8, but only from 1950, in Leica thread mount. Nothing to trade, so, I buy...

Posted - Mar 22 2008 : 06:20:47 AM Thanks, Vlad. And BK for Biotar Krasnogorsk, that sounds more evident! So, no ZK to buy?

Posted - Mar 20 2008 : 2:57:08 PM You're welcome Guido,
also, Jacques, Zeiss in Russian would be Tseiss, so if would've been "TS" letter - "TSK" then...

Thank you for this explanation.

Posted - Mar 20 2008 : 1:44:19 PM In Russian Sonnar is Zonnar, so ZK stands for Zonnar Krasnogosk.

Posted - Mar 19 2008 : 07:17:09 AM Hi,
I do possess Jupiter-3 #5104275 made in Krasnogorsk, as well as few lenses more: #5710589 (ZOMZ) and black one #6401395 (Optek?). Unfortunately not for sale yet, trade is possible ...

Posted - Mar 19 2008 : 05:24:03 AM Hi Guido,
Really I don't know. It seems evident that SK=ZK. Perhaps for Zeiss? Or Zorki? Or a problem of cyrillic drawing, the Z being a 3 ?
Someone must know!

Posted - Mar 18 2008 : 4:41:34 PM Hello Jacques
Thank you for your good wishes. Same to you!
By the way (okay, it's not the best place for such questions): Why ZK? I know it's very common, but I learnd that SK stands for "Sonnar Krasnogorsk". Am I completly wrong with this?
Best wishes - Guido

Posted - Mar 18 2008 : 4:16:34 PM No problem, Guido! My wish is 1950 only for the Jup' (but they were not produced before) or any year for a ZK. So, good luck!
