Posted - Jan 12 2009 : 2:57:29 PM Just spent half an hour finding three easy to reckognize cases, but on the same time I realized that I could never say which case is for which camera from all my cases. Simply too many cases, and I was stupid enough not to start taking pics of cases also in the very beginning. I just thought that there will never be so many cameras that I couldn't match cases to cameras So what do you think: any idea to add case pictures to wiki? And how do you "mark" your cases: picture, small text inside the case hidden somewhere?
Best regards, Juhani

Posted - Jan 13 2009 : 02:43:25 AM Hi,
To recognize never-ready cases and boxes, as Vlad, I put a sticker inside with camera s/n #.
Regards,
Michel.

Posted - Jan 12 2009 : 11:36:46 PM Vlad: I meant ever-ready-cases, those that come with cameras. And there is none in the category...
Possibly an idea to add (under the camera model) a picture with case, or only case, for reckognizing purposes. So that if case is lost "at home" or seached afterwards it would be easy to see how it looks?
Best regards, Juhani

Posted - Jan 12 2009 : 5:28:42 PM I use low-sticky Scotch tape and put serial number of the camera on it, and model. Today’s Scotch does not live residue on the case (so far no residue, do not hold me for my words in 15 year:) and tape is easy to write on with ballpen. Better solution probably tags. But they are tended to make a nut with other tags and just mess everything up, and making one big ball

Posted - Jan 12 2009 : 3:11:09 PM Juhani, the category in Wiki already exists under Photo accessories..
I personally if it's not easily recognizable case (like Narciss or something) put a post-it note with camera name on it inside the case...
