I just could not contain myself, I knew it's a fake of course, but man! that camera looks nice.. so I ordered it on eBay from Moscow. :) I was actually told that it was manufactured in July 2007, they sold it to me as "brand new".

welcome to the site, thanks for the compliments.

Regarding the Gold Zorki - it's a nice shelf piece... the shutter has a light leak on the left on most frames, and rangefinder was acting a bit funky, I think it's little misaligned at close distance... here's a sample from this particular one:

Hello Vlad, I've been tempted by those gold-plated models, too. (Just the thing for discreet street photography!) I'm more of a user than a collector, though, and I'm wondering if you can tell us what the camera is like mechanically. Judging by the serial number your Zorki C would have been made in 1956. Fine website, by the way.
