Posted - Jul 08 2009 : 11:02:07 AM I know that it is somewhat controversial to suggest that the Minox is a Soviet-made camera, but nevertheless cameras manufactured from 1940 to 1943 were engraved 'Made in USSR'. On this basis, I have added the Minox to the Wiki Catalog.

Posted - Jul 08 2009 : 3:24:52 PM According to my Finnish history book Latvia (and thus also Riga) was part of Soviet Union from July 1940 to autumn 1989 with exception of June 1941 - 1944 when Latvia was occupied by German troops as Ostland. And as Finnish history writing can truly be considered most unbiased & reliable I would say your input is correct also in that way.
