Hello friends,

My question would be - what do you know about mysterious Jupiter-17 lens? Announced widely in the soviet press as a less costly substitute of popular Jupiter-8 lens, but seems to be, never entered mass-production. During my collecting years I have lifted thousands of various soviet rangfinders, but have never met J-17 lens alive. Only some poor images in the soviet press ...

Any kind of information would be very appreciated!

Best Regards,
Aidas
