I recently had someone translate from my manual (Kiev 15). The small black button next to the shutter speed dial is a battery check. Below this is a selector that points to a red or a green dot. This is the on-off switch for the meter (red is off-green is on). I still need further translation on the function for that black knob (film speed selector) in the center of the shutter speed dial that raises and turns, which does seem to make the meter more sensitive when it is turned. Will post when I get more info.
