.. and I do agree, if eBay is competition, Molotok will follow I think, even though they're saying they're not threatened by eBay's move.

Getting Russians to accept PayPal is the biggest step for mankind . That would truly change the dynamic of the marketplace.

Very nice Vlad! Maybe this move by Ebay will also encourage Molotok to provide more ways for Western users to buy and sell on their site ... especially easier payment methods and hopefully a way to write directly to a seller rather than their "forum" system!
