Posted - May 07 2010 : 4:35:08 PM Hello, here is one more unusual camera: Zorki-Zorki with double serial number. This camera has one serial number on the top plate and the other one on the back panel. The camera seems to be from early begin of 1955 (number on the back 5503505) and as I know since end 1954 / begin 1955 the engraving of s/n moved from top plate to the back side. The numbers does not match each other, BUT export version of Zorki had own numeration. May be it is transitional model or, what I do not want to believe , some parts were simply replaced by reparing.
Regards, Alexander

the serial on the top seems to be from 1951. So I think that the top plate was changed.
