Try Mike Haley in Ukraine - napchop@gmail.com
Or his website
www.cccp.alienplanetnet/index.htm
His repairs through ex-Arsenal guys seem resonable .

Dear ADV-76

There is someone in Holland who did repairs on Kiev large format camera's, called 'Jaap de Zee'. The last time I e-mailed him was in 2006. I don't know if he's still active, or wether he accepts repairs from oversea. His rates where reasonable back then. I will p/m you his email adress.
Never seen or had a 88 or 66 myself, wish I had and could repair them, no experience as well.

With kind regards,

M Schekkerman

Well I hope to find someone that can do it. KievUSA is too high. I would rather just buy a new camera than pay Kiev USA $400. I just really hate to get rid of this one.

Thanks
Will

Hi Will,

These are very finnicky shutters, not a lot of repairmen will work on them and the ones who do usually don't guarantee their repair work on these cameras since they can break again the next day. For a proper repair you can send it back to Kiev (Arsenal factory) or you can try contacting Yuri at Fedka.com, he may have somebody who could attempt a repair on these..

A lot of people just refurbish these at KievUSA but that's quite costly.

Cheers,
Vlad.
