Some information in Russian is there: http://www.zenitcamera.com/archive/aks/index.html
How to understand a camera serial numbers is there: http://www.zenitcamera.com/qa/qa-serialnumbers.html Shortly, AKS used this formula: 3YQNNN, where 3 -- KMZ, Y -- the last digit of year, Q -- a quarter in this year, NNN -- the sequence number. (For example: 314042 = KMZ, 1951, 4th quarter, 42nd camera) |

Posted - Aug 16 2010 : 8:48:03 PM Spasibo Vlad, The man i bought it from in Kiev listed it as aerial. I need to post pics however, it looks just like the one listed here ( the link I used in original post ) However, I'm not sure the difference between aerial and regular. I'm very new to working this camera. ( I've never had a movie film camera before but I'm VERY excited to learn ) I am a WW2/BOB Soviet re-enactor and I got it to film some of the battles.
Thank you to you or anyone else who can give any information at all on this camera. Vash drug, Dorian Motowylak
