Recently I have purchased a Zenit 11 and I have discovered that the shutter is stuck at a single speed. The shutter speed dial rotates and locks into position, yet all the settings fire at the same speed (B mode does not act as B mode, but fires at this speed too). There is no discernible difference between the different speeds, any way to fix this?

Dear B-Hazard,

As far as I know (and if I'm not mistaken) the Zenit 11 has no rotating speed dial. In technical terms it could be the catching lever for the second curtain. It's not easily fixed if you have no repair experience. You may better have some experienced mechanical repair person to look at it, like Oleg Khalyavin.

With kind Regards,

M Schekkerman
