Some time ago I got an old FED-1 (s/n 6xxx) in very unusual leather bag with a star on press-button.
Could it be the original FED-bag or it is a Leica one?

Regards, Alexander

Hello!

I think it is FEDs. I have seen one before, dont remeber, was it in my collection or my friend. I have to look, let you know.

Some of my Fed and Zorki bag's have a stamp inside the case on the backside. Leica cases are made of fine, quite thin leather, the Russian Cases are a bit rough and sturdy. Except for some early Fed NKVD ones I have.
Looking at the stitches, it could be a homemade or homefixed case as well.

I just sometime wonder where all the bags and spools go!

P.S. The front of the bag is empty without any FED-stamping.

Regards, Alexander
