I have just purchased a SLR Start on eBay in the picture of the camera is a small box that looks like the waist level viewfinder I asked the vendor his answer was "it's a Shaft and Case". What would it be?

It not looks like a waist level finder for the Start but it is the original Start waist level finder.
Now search for the original accessory exposure meter prism.
Best Regards
