Hi all,

As many of you know, I have recently purchased my first two Russian cameras; a lovely FED 2(D6) and an equally flawless Zorki-4. I just came across a "like new" Leningrad 7 light meter, and I thought it would be a nice match for my newest toys. I have yet to receive it, but I've been looking on the web for instructions on just how to use one, and I must say that I am more confused than ever. For starters, any links to English versions of a user manual are no longer working. I have found a few articles that attempt to describe the proper procedure, but for someone who has never owned one before, well... it has me puzzled, to say the least!

I would be very grateful indeed if someone could please explain in layman's terms how to properly use this meter. Even better, does anyone on this forum have an English translation of the user manual which I could get a copy of?

Is it really a fairly simple process once it is mastered, or am I better off sticking to sunny 16?

Thanks for any/all input you can provide; VERY much appreciated!

Glen
