Zenit 19 with no batteries does not really work perfect. Why dont they produce nice camera outfits like that today? A digital version of a Zenit 19 or 18 would be awesome. There is a gaping hole in the market for a simple, reliable, digital slr. Everything today puts the computerization in your face, and I dont like that. (Excluding a few insanely expensive cameras) Pipe dreams.....sigh.
RCCCUK	Posted - Apr 23 2012 : 02:36:51 AM Hi Vlad, The camera turned out to be fine. It was just that the batteries had corroded. It just needed a bit of a clean up and is now as good as new. I am now looking to add the missing lenses. David.
