Hello All,

Does anyone know when KMZ started producing accessory viewfinders? I have just received an 85mm example, early type with metal front, almost pristine with bakelite keeper and passport.

The passport is dated 28.VII.1958 - I had not realised these items were made as early as that, most other examples I´ve seen with passports were from the 1960´s and 70´s. The accessory RF lenses seem to have been made from the very early 50´s, so perhaps the viewfinders as well?

Any info gratefully received - ATB ChrisS.

Thanks for that Luiz - it does seem logical when you consider the marketing of the lenses.

I believe they were put on market around the early '50s
By sure the "reversed Universal finder" began its life in '47.
