Posted - Jul 04 2012 : 01:21:29 AM Hello to you all, Perhaps due to my lack of knowledge of the Russian language i have just this question. The large format wooden cameras are calles FK or FKD and so on. What does this abbreviation mean? Thank you for your trouble.

Thank you for your reply. Part of my interest in Soviet equipment is the social and economical background of the then Soviet Union.Such an abbreviation as FK is for me a clear sign, that competition and advertising is very much different of what we, in our society, are used to. Thanks again Henk

Posted - Jul 04 2012 : 1:27:06 PM Hello Henk, FK (in russian ФК) means PhotoCamera (ФотоКамера), FKD (in russian ФКД) means Traveling Photo Camera (ФотоКамера Дорожная).
