I have been looking for a list of some type to find out the age of my Fed 50 mm f3.5 It seems to be fairly late with a Serial # 151990, anyone have any idea of the year it was built.

Thanks

Hello Bill!

Welcome!
About your question, the JLP points a # 156837 on a Fed 2a # 022922.
The Fed 2a was made from 1955. So, I would say that same year for your lens.

Impossible to be absolutely sure: there is no table of correspondence between numbers and years at Feds.

Amitiés. Jacques.
