Posted - Dec 04 2007 : 08:29:34 AM I have strange example of this camera with Moment-1 shatter and coated lens. Strange, because this cameras was produced with Moment-23 shatter (as I know). Strange, because Moment-1 has not-coated lens (as I know). It installed between lenses so it hard just to change lens, you have to remake whole assembly. Strange, because I did not found any signs of repairs ( or I do not know how to look :). I was using magnifying glass to inspect camera. Serial number is nothing to wright home about, just random digits. Wonder if anybody have any comments or thoughts about this camera?

Posted - Dec 04 2007 : 9:29:19 PM Well what I found (should look on it first) serial number on the back of the camera is 5706381(1957 year or production) and on the lens I have 5414393(year 1954) Lens is coated, but shatter is Moment 1. So all indication that this camera was rebuilt from many different components of many models. I believe in camera repair shops such cameras called "katleta" – meatloaf Never the less camera work perfectly despite the ages and as I tell earlier I can not find any flow in quality of assembly.
