Posted - Feb 19 2014 : 09:25:00 AM Hello,
while disassembling an early FED 1 (serial number 9xxx) I found this engraving on the bottom of the shutter housing. Can anybody translate this to me? Does it make sense or is it just a senseless scratching :-)

Posted - Feb 19 2014 : 3:28:03 PM Thanks for your explanations. So it seems to be a name. Very strange place for engraving the name :-)
looks like initials and name "I. S. Zavizion" The last letter is written in Latin style (N) and not in Cyrillic one (H). As for me this name is very untypical.
