Hello!

I have received this Mir-20 avtomat.
I think it's an early one (Arsenal version naturely, KMZ started production earlier), but I'm not sure. Simply, I have never seen this model with serial number in 76xxxxx. So I think production started in 77.

Also, what do you think about this inscription?

It's engraved (at first I thought it was painted).
I think it means Инвентаризация №119 (Inventorisation N119), but maybe not? Any idea?

Regards,

Pierre

In 73 or 74 was started in KMZ. Arsenal started later the Kiev-15 version. As far as I can see, they started in 77 since I have never seen Arsenal Mir-20 in 76 serial or earlier

Hi Pierre,

it is really internal inventary number in the organisation, where it was used (for example photo atelier).
This number has nothing to do with the serial number of the lens and year of production.
