quote: these camera where given to the workers when the Photo dept in Fed Factory, Kharkov, close definitely (1994).
I see on eBay FED 70 with special mark on the front "FED - 70 years" and seller tell that this camera was given to workers on last day before factory close for good. May be they give both models. It would be nice to show this way appreciation for they work, but I doubt FED just gave cameras away. May be as a compensation for unpayed time?

Posted - Jun 18 2008 : 02:57:17 AM Hi all,
I see that Alain Berry's Fed commemorative "70 years" has s/n #436557. Mine has s/n #944315. So my Fed "70" is more than half a million younger…

Posted - Jun 17 2008 : 8:07:25 PM I was thinking, what exactly 70-th anniversary this camera commemorated ? Great October Revolution - 1917 ? Soviet Union - 1924? Soviet Ukraine - 1918? Creation of Orphanage community ? Factory FED ? Something else ?

Posted - Dec 31 2007 : 11:42:25 AM I have this same model in red. I think this is just a regular commemorative camera dedicated to 70 years of Soviet Union, which places it in 1987. It is possible they were giving those out on the day factory closed but I really doubt they made those for that purpose, these seem to be older than 1994.
