Posted - Feb 15 2017 : 05:24:51 AM Interesting. But why reverse mounted ? How could you focus with this set (Salut + Jupiter 8) ? There is a mirror in the camera and Jupiter should be closer to the film than mirror allows it.

Posted - Feb 15 2017 : 03:37:35 AM Many years ago I found these astonishing capabilities of Júpiter 8. I tested it in a Salyut around 1969. A reversed Júpiter mounted in a Hasselblad bellows in the câmera. Remember that at this time the gratest angle was obtained with a 65mm Mir 3. Jupiter results were perfect and I didn.t notice any vignette. Regards. LP

Posted - Feb 14 2017 : 08:57:01 AM Ok, I can see now, thanks xya. He uses export version of Jupiter 8. I have tested 3 or 4 pieces of Jupiter 8. Only one was export version and this one was the best one.

Posted - Feb 14 2017 : 08:28:41 AM The results are absolutely astonishing. I wonder if such a conversion would be compatible with a 35mm... Anyway, that could not be done on the corner of a table!

Where is panoramic function ? I can see sbd has added Compur shutter to Zorki 6 and this is the only change.
the negative is 24x58 instead of 36. which makes it panoramic indeed. he changed the camera profoundly but it is so well made that you don't see it at first sight. have a look at the film plane, it is much longer than the original one.
I would not have thought that the lens would cover that. he says that even at F2.0 you only have a slight vignetting. I would like to have one like this...
