Posted - Jan 17 2024 : 12:59:57 PM does anyone have a complete list about dating LENSES (not cameras) based on their serial? some people said that the first two numbers were the date but what about serials that start with 0 and after that numbers thanks in advance

Posted - Jan 21 2024 : 01:38:58 AM Hello Vasilis 29, COMPLETE list (serial == date) can be made, but by own hands: on this site exist threads-databases(serial on lens corelating with serial on camera body(as rule - fed1)). Your can make own thread/threads, and collecting lens documents(attestats/passports/other papers containing date of manufacturing and lens serial number), and after some time(maybe years) this list will be filled. For non-rare lens(by my opinion), not required exact date: +-some years enough precise.
